Ali Matthews’ (http://www.alimatthews.com) 11 nominations in 2006 has now been beaten by downhere but she’s still come away with 14 GMA Covenant Awards and 36 nominations in her music career. We chatted with the singer-songwriter, while she was on the road during an Eastern Ontario tour.
Welcome to a new part of my life. Many of you know about my love for arts as a writer/journalist, photographer and musician—and my heart for encouraging others’ creativity. God has now called me into another area of ministry where I’ll keep doing what I’m doing, but with more intentionality.
Just over a year ago, I was interviewing Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T.) International executive director Byron Spradlin for a ChristianWeek Ontario article. A challenge from Byron led to the formation of Selaw (pronounced ‘say-LAV’) Ministries.
